Lead has over 100,000 Active Clients

As at 31 December, 2007 just over 4 years of lending activities, Lead reached 106,321 active clients, of which 87% are women.

Lead has been serving its clients through two lending programs, Blossoms of Goodwill Group Lending and the Small and Micro Enterprise (SME) Individual Lending Program, These programs have achieved exceptional outreach and repayment rates.

Lead will continue to accomplish its mission to provide poor and low-income entrepreneurs especially women with sustainable access to quality microfinance services that address their needs and build their capacity.

Lead has conducted its first performance rating

Lead conducted its first performance rating by the international microfinance rating agency Planet Rating and was awarded the grade B for its performance in the first 3 years of its operations.

In a 3-year time, Lead has managed to become one of the largest players on the Egyptian market in terms of outreach. Both its portfolio and number of clients are increasing at a fast pace, 114% and 86% respectively. To read the report please click here.
