Lead is adopting Best Practice Microfinance in all aspects of its operation including Financial Transparency in accordance with CGAP Standards.

Since start-up, Lead has been an active member of the Mix Market transparency website in which members share analytical information visible to members of the industry, donor agencies, and other stakeholders.

In 2007, Lead conducted its first performance rating by the international microfinance rating agency Planet Rating and was awarded the grade B for its performance in the first 3 years of its operations.
